Reliance Jio started in 2007 and now has 4.2 million users according to the reports of TRAI. The telecommunication network expanded rapidly. The company is now using various methods to make its services more accessible and easy for the users.

One such idea was the invention of the Jiocare WhatsApp chatbot. The WhatsApp chatbot named Jiocare began in 2020. Initially, it offers services like registering a support request for SIM-related queries, JioMart, JioFiber internet, and international roaming.

Now it has expanded another feature that allows you to recharge your number using Jiocare WhatsApp Chatbot. You can recharge your Jio number or any other SIM number using  Jiocare WhatsApp Chatbot. 


Recharge your number using Jiocare WhatsApp Chatbot


  1. The registered Jiocare WhatsApp Chatbot number is 7000770007. You can also use this link to reach the bot. The user can send ‘Hi’ and the bot will respond with an automated text. 


  1. Your number status, Active plan, Monetary balance, Data balance, Plan expiration date will also appear.


  1. Click on the main menu and an array of options will appear. To recharge your Jio number click on Jio SIM recharge. Select Jio Mobile recharge plan and select the payment method. 


  1. The bot will redirect you to Jio’s website. You can choose PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, Amazon Pay, or any other e-wallet.


Recharge another number using Jiocare WhatsApp Chatbot


You can also recharge a number that does not belong to you using the same Jiocare WhatsApp Chatbot. 


  • Click on Jio mobile recharge and select the ‘Recharge for friend’ option. 
  • Enter the 10 digits mobile number
  • Popular recharge plans will appear. Select your preferred one.
  • You will be redirected to Jio’s website. Select your payment method and your recharge will be done. 

Apart from these features, the Jio bot has other interesting features also. You can request to switch your existing numbers to Jio or apply for a new Jio number. You can change language also by typing ‘Set language’. However, currently, only two languages (English & Hindi) are available. 


COVID-19 JioCare WhatsApp inquiries

Reliance Jio has extended its features to COVID-related inquiries to ease the burden of the people.  You can select the ‘Covid vaccine and info’ option from the main menu and choose vaccine info. Through these options, users can get options related to vaccines and nearby vaccine centers. A six-digit Pincode of the area is required to access this information.


Apart from the Jiocare WhatsApp Chatbot, you can use the MyJio app for mobile and jio fiber recharge.
